could someone tell me what is the difference between options "target upload/downoad " located on the general session and “target upload/download” located on the advanced session on the queue configuration via winbox??? aren’t that the same thing?
limit-at – Guaranteed data rate to this queue
max-limit – Data rate which can be reached if there is enough bandwidth available
but… what is the real difference betwen limit-at and max-limit? I mean, how can Mikrotik know if I have enought bandwidht available??? Here, for example, I have one 6Mb link and many access points with mikrotik in different places. all these access points share the same 6Mb link. But i’m creating queues on each access point for each connected client. How could one access point know if I have enought bandwidht available on my link?
On my scenario, witch option sould I use? Max-limit I think… am I right? With my configuration, is there a way to guarantee bandwidht to my clients?

Read about Queues and HTB
when queue traffic is less then limit-at, it is not affected by queue (i.e. not shaped/dropped). and when rate is greater then limit-at, it canot be greater then max-limit
