We were using v3.30, but having some problems with hotspot after login browser refresh. We decided to upgarde to V4.9 because we didn’t saw any big problems at the forum…
But we are having huge problems:
1 - link are disconnecting , even with -40 or -50 signal
2 - we now have, working same frequencies, slowness, unstable link quality, ranging from 30 to 100%
We just revert to 3.30 and everything is working
Any ideas on these issues??

-40 and -50 is too strong signal, it’s not good. good signal is, say -65
also make sure you change the hw-retries according to your priorities. increase if you have disconnects

I know it is too strong. We have 17 links with levels ranging from -40 to -70
The problem is that with v3.30 i don’t have those unstable connections like teh ones with V4.9 Something is wrong with that software because we are also having BGP problems: peer establishes connection but I don’t receive routes…only after upgrading to V4.9
The HW-Retries were changed till to 15, with some behavior.
The most strange one is the time that the link takes to establish, from 2s to 10 s. With v3.30 is immediately.
