Get active conntion count

I’m trying to get the number of active connections into a variable with no success.

I have a script that cycles the router when it looses connection with the rest of the world as a band aid patch until I find the real problem. I would like to log the number of active connections before I do so.

/ppp active print count

The same sound go for some of the other types of connections…
