Get infrmation from Sierra Wireless MC8790

Hi All,
i configured teh routerboard RB411U with a sierra Wireless MC8790, all work but i can not get a information about the 3G module:

PPP CONFIGURATION :

I can get info from module if the ppp-client is disble, but if the ppp-client is connect i can not get information about the module.

Can i get information during the connection ?

Cris, different info-channel should report you necessary information.

hi Sergejs, i tried differnt solution, but seems that this is only working solution.

if i try to switch the channell " data-channel=3, info-channel=4 " the router is still connected but i can not get info .

It is the correct configuration with " data-channel=4 and info-channel=3 " ?

during the test i saw that the last configuration don’t work correctly, the modem 3G disconnects every 1 minute.

If i change the port data-channel field with " 3 " the modem working correctly but i can not get info.

Some suggestion ?

From Supported Hardware documentation,

Sierra Wireless MC8790 v3.18 Few models do not send echo for input commands, modem does not work properly.

It does not support proper info on other channels, you can upgrade modem firmware to the latest one or wait for the fixes in the upcoming firmware. MikroTik can do nothing in this situation.
