is there a method to poll the implemented routerboards in the network to get sofware version of eachone?!! using OID and mikrotik mib works fine for RB with sw version higher than 2.9 but with 2.8.x i get an empty value…
time to upgrade maybe? i suggest using the Dude to monitor your netowor like this. it could even notify you when you need to upgrade something

I was looking for a way get RBs sw version by using a certain script to go for the upgrade 
!
Anyway i can use the script to determine sw v. of RBs wich are higher than 2.9.0 and i ll assume that all others with null snmp value are 2.8.26 (as it was the last sw v. i used in 2.8.x).
I just downloaded the dude …well it seems very intresting tool. I need some time to go in deep in it…
