Getting no Ip on the client

Hello,

Im trying to set up this:

  1. I have followed the guide: http://www.mikrotik.com/testdocs/ros/2.9/ip/dhcp.php

  2. I have created the IP-Pool

  3. I have created the DHCP-Server

but the client refuses to get an IP what could be wrong?

Hi Johan ;
to overcome this problem delete the pool you create and any pool you will find also the dhcp server you create .
now only define the ip for each interface .
now go straight to the dhcp server start the settings again , you will see that it will creat the pool automaticaly and mostly the name will be dhcp_pool1 be sure that the dhcp will be assigned to the required interface .
now when you put the pc ip to obtain the ip automatically , it should get ip from the server .
