Good signal but very poor throughput....

Please have a look at these screenshots :

These are of a client connecting to an AP which is just about 50 - 60 meters away. Client runs RouterOS 6.30.2 AP runs RouterOS 6.27. There are 4 clients on the AP. Why would the bandwidth test have such poor results ? What can I do to fix this ?

Hello. Your signal strenght should be -50 and -60dBm and your signal to noise value is huge.

To my understanding a high SNR value is good : http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/tutorials/article.php/3468771

SNR is fine, but -32dB signal is too strong. Move it further, so that signal is -45 or -50

Same issue

Have you tried the proposed fix in this thread?

which equipment you have??

Looks like only one Chain is setup on ch1. Ch0 has two.

Activate the second chain and let’s see the difference?

Never make conclusions according the bandwidth test. It is very cpu intensive so it influences the tested device. So don’t run the bandwidth test on the devices which throughput are you willing to test.

Here is result from switches behind AP And Client.

Ok. Looks better now. Can you move the signal to be around -50? Also check the mcs on the other clients while testing… IT should be kept high too.
