I’ve been using Mikrotik OS for a year now, and after many to-hell-and-back-again experiences with other normal AP & bridges, I must say that Mikrotik have made our WiFi lives just a pleasure. Now I’ve downloaded Dude, and man, it’s just what I needed. I had a look at D-Link’s D-View, but at the price, I hesitated due to insufficient demos available. Now I’ve found Dude and it is just great. We’ve got a network with 8 Mikrotik routers linked with P2P links each having an AP or two with many clients. I’ve been updating IPs, names, etc. on a map in CorelDraw, just to keep track of what’s happening, so Dude is just heaven sent!!! I’ll even try to set it up to SMS my phone if links go down.
