Goodwe inverter disconnects regularly

Hi,
I have simple capsman wifi network. I used devices 951g-2hnd. Everything is working fine except Goodwe inverter is regularly disconnecting. I must reset him to connect again. When I use old wifi access point (maybe 7 years old noname) it is working without problems. I have found multiple forums that goodwe and mikrotik do not like each other but without any solution.
I installed latest firmware version to godwee and mikrotik devices.

Thanks for help

Never heard of Goodwe. How are the inverter and router connected to each other (example, USB, wired IP, WiFi, smoke signals)?

I know GoodWe very well and the WiFi module is not great. Instead of restarting the inverter or push the button on the stick I restart the cAP Lite that I use only for the inverter. And the network cable goes to a switch (POE).

I read the the status of the inverter through Node Red and if no response is received it will restart the cAP Lite.

Underneath the log and you see the restart for “Router one” at 18h56

Hi,

I know it’s kinda old, but have you found the solution? I’m having exactly the same problem with this crappy GoodWe wifi module?

How are your wifi settings ?

I have GoodWE inverter connected to AX Lite via capsman just fine.
Just make sure not to use WPA3 on the SSID it connects to.

I had a site with this issue. It was only a problem with the legacy wireless hardware.

After upgrading the APs to wifi-qcom/wifi-qcom-ac hardware the inverter was able to connect without issue.

You’re actually right, but there’s one more thing to do - you need to update firmware for both inverter and wifi box module. Then indeed all started working fine (I’ve just done it with the help of GoodWe Support).
