), you removed it! I almost hated it - I can’t disable it between sessions; when I click some link on fresh page, bar opens and moves the page exactly one link down - so wrong page is being loaded… 
Now things are much better, thanks again
hmmm… probably, I was able to disable it at last because I pressed “Disable for this website” not less than 30 times %)

I don’t know what you solve 2-3 weeks ago, but that ‘page move down’ is still here. I even closed my IE and run Firefox (it was never showing that forum, so nothing to refresh) - when bar appears, page content is moved one link down, if we’re talking about index page. so I click General forum, bar appears, and I go to Beginners one…
I looked into it, and nothing is moving in any of my 5 browsers. The dropdown link simply appears in it’s place, after the page loads. Layout of page doesn’t change when it appears. I tried different browser sizes as well. Hmm.

This must be a virus, because I don’t know what you have there we didn’t add that thing.

maybe you have some addon? or in your google account settings you have specified that you need translation?
I just tested it, I have a similar bar showing up after I select a translation language. If you do not translate the page, it doesn’t show up. Also, at least for me, the bar shows up only after I click the dropdown, not by itself.
on your screenshot, you have “Select Language” under The Dude Ad. mine is in Russian, why is your not in Latvian?.. seems like the bar is not appearing because it doesn’t want to translate from English to English 
I can’t stand translated interfaces, you however seem to be running a translated Windows. Maybe the plugin knows your regional settings?

what does “layout: google.translate.TranslateElement.InlineLayout.SIMPLE” mean? google’s page generates the script for me without that line… maybe try to remove it? )))
thanks, I’m using FF about twice a year, and I narrowed the window just to make screenshots
without that line, the translation widget becomes bigger, and also has some ‘powered by google’ text beneath it. remove all cookies too!
