I’m a bit confused by the GPER specifications.
I’m looking to power a Hikvision camera (https://www.hikvision.com/africa/products/IP-Products/Network-Cameras/Ultra-Series-SmartIP-/ds-2cd4d26fwd-iz-s---v-/).
According to the Hikvision specification it consumes PoE (802.3af): max. 10W/0.21A and it is a class 3 af device.
So if I’m understanding correctly that should be no issue with the GPER or does that exceed the max power the GPER can pass trough?
There is no max power, there is simply a slight voltage drop on long distances. Check the table in the brochure:
