Hi, I’ve a hEX s router and I’m using a FS GPON SFP Moudule to replace the GPON router my ISP provided. But the SFP module is not producing any Tx Power. The reading on Rx power is fine cuz its similar to the ISP’s GPON router. Is there any settings i need to change or i’m missing something here? I did opened ISP’s GPON router and get specs written on the transceiver and ordered the SFP module accordingly. Please follow the attached screenshot.
This module is based on Openwrt. Have you logged into the module and used the internal tool to confirm O5 status?
The module will not transmit continuously if it is not authorized from the ISP.
Hi, The module provider did provide me with an IP (192.168.1.10/24) but i don’t know how to ssh into it. (Not a techie to be honest) i tried to ping it through cmd but didn’t get any response.
I’m not 100% sure but i don’t think my ISP use that authentication method. Cuz I have few ONUs laying around from different brands (Including cheap local ones) and all of them works with my ISP.
My ISP do use MAC authentication cuz each time i got a new router, i had to copy the MAC address from my first router.
