I’d like to buy a device which will have GPON and act as WiFi router as well. Would be grate if it will be a single device. Not two independent. As I understand there is no option from Mikrotik with WiFi ax. It seams like only outdated ac is available. Am I correct?
Correct, currently MT doesn’t offer any ax WiFi device with SFP+ port
Another gotcha with your wanted config is that MT doesn’t really support GPON SFP modules. While there are some models that somehow work, one has to know exactly what to do. And things might break with upgrades.
In short: it’s not recommended to use ROS device as GPON ONT.
