I have a pcmcia card, brand:“OPTION wireless technology”, model “GT 3G Quad”, “Qualcomm 3G DCMA”, Datacard "UMTS/GPRS
I work it on a routerboard 230 with debian linux, but I would like to use it on the same board with mikrotik software.
I placed the card on it (with 2.9.19) and it recognized it as “Quicknet jack”, which i guess it is wrong. I tried to setup a PPP client but the only thing that mikrotik was founding was the original serial0 of routerboard and no other available ports.
What made me wonder is that mikrotik didn’t see also the built in USB port of the routerboard230 (I have installed all available packets of 2.9.19 except wireless leagacy, routing-test, rstp-bridge and webproxy.test).
I also have an ugrent requirement to get this card going on MT. There is huge potential especially on networks where HSDPA have been launched. Please add the support to MT.
please make the support output file from that router where you have that card inside and maybe we could add the support for that card.
Note, you should have v2.9.24 on that router.
Send that file to support@mikrotik.com
