Any experiences with gps card in routerboard?
My routerboards will be mobile and i need their location more offten to see on map how they are moving. Which card to use on which routerboard.

not card, USB module. they work fine
i think to do that with rb411uahr and sierra wireless pci card with 3G/4G and gps. is this good combination?
second question: i now have rb751u-2hnd and need usb port for 3G/4G usb stick. Is there possibility to put there usb hub and have usb 3G/4G stick and GPS usb ond same port?

most of them. I think all of them as very similar.
is supported sierra wireless mc8801 which have gps?
Many of Sierra Wireles PCI-e card have bult-in GPS function, but it is locked.
It should be work as standart NMEA port if unlocked.
Try to do this:

AT!CUSTOM=“GPSENABLE”,1
AT!RESET

I want to unlock GPS on my MC8790, but unfortunately have not got passive antenna.
Normis, could you tell please how recognize if GPS is operational but recieve no signal?
I’v done test and it realy works for Sierra Wireless 8790V Card.
Going to looking for GPS antenna.
