I just wanted to ask if there was ever a discussion to add Graceful Restart to IGP/BGP within RouterOS?
disable/enable is what you are looking for. as disable will leave gracefully.
Well, I understand that restarting the process itself will end up doing what it does internally but I can definitely say that this does not exist within the implementation of the protocols within RouterOS.
I have a Cisco 3750G that is peering BGP and OSPF with two RouterOS devices and they do not have any sort of received graceful restart capability. I was just curious if RFC 4724 (Graceful Restart for BGP) and RFC 3623 (Graceful Restart for OSPF) will be included in that manner.
Or if it has even been discussed and on an internal roadmap…
