Graphical and textual objects in a map

Hi, I did a little search in the forum, but didn’t find anything about this. If it exists anyway, please redirect me there.

Is it possible to draw graphical and textual object in a map? I’d like to organize and group the devices. Background image in a map is not very convinient for this.

Moveable, resizeable, maybe parametrical graphical and textual (labels) object would be a great solution. Moreover, they could be connected to devices to keep the position relative to them while moving. I mean something like groupers of various shapes with labels; containers of devices - visual and also with dialog based editable content.

Is that already possible in The Dude somehow? If not, is it planned?

No.

Would indeed be nice. Simply being able to draw a rectangle would already help. So simply some basic shapes would do really nice. Incl. of course the ability to add text to ‘name’ certain ‘groups’.
