Hi guys

Nope, the only thing recorded by SNMP is interface statistics which is what the dude displays.
NER is an opensource tool that can tell you this. Not too hard to get running on a new Linux system.
Checkout sourceforge.
Dude that program looks sweet..( ignore the pun
)
Is there any documentation for it? I’m still al linux noob
There are a bunch of small PDFs in the tar file. That can help.
Here is what I would do… Find a server, your server will need at least 2 Ethernet ports.
Download the ISO DVD for Centos5. Get the 64bit version if your server can run it.
Burn the ISO, Boot the server from the DVD.
Install Centos5, you can include web server, development libraries and disable SELinux during the install.
If you don’t get everything you need you can use YUM to install it later so just get your server running.
Once you get the server running you can ssh to it or use WinSCP to copy files to it.
Download the program tar files directly to the server or copy them over with WinSCP.
The forum for NER has a lot of good information.

You will improve your linux skills ![]()
You might want to purchase a network TAP for each segment you want to monitor.
You will want to learn how to create users and groups and run ner as a different user, not as root but just for testing run it as root.
