grayed out radio in access list - consequences?

I had a ticket come in for a client that could not surf.

Upon inspection I found the mac address of the radio in the access list twice. One time it was disabled. All other settings look fine.

I don’t see traffic flowing but the customer could have the radio off. I thought I’d ask here and see if anyone could tell me how this might affect me. (having a mac address in the access list twice and one disabled. does it block all?)

I have cleaned up the access list at this point to be as it should.

I believe this is just for discussion.

you can try to do that again, but this time, enable wireless debug log and see the real reason for association problem. any kind of disabled rule should be ignored, and the active rule should be working only. Maybe you had unchecked “authentication” in the active access list rule ?
