Hey everyone.
We have a problem. GRE breaks at random intervals. Only restarting Mikrotik helps.
More about the scheme and the problem.
There is a remote office (hap ac2) and a central one (ccr 1072), between them IPSec is built inside which GRE is raised for transport. There are more than 300 such offices with identical settings, but the problem occurs only on one.
The problem manifests itself in random periods of time from 12 hours to several days. When GRE breaks, everything else works. The Internet is, IPSec has the established.
Restarting GRE does not help. In the console, when trying to ping an IP on a GRE interface, it shows the “Cannot allocate memory” error. At the same time, pinging 8.8.8.8, linking IP to IPSec, or any other does not cause errors. After restarting Mikrotik (hap ac2), everything is restored. There is nothing unusual in the log at the time the problem occurred.
At the same time, the maximum load on the processor does not exceed 70%, avg ~ 20%. Free memory is always more than 76 MiB.
To rule out problems with the Mikrotik device, they was replaced.
What could be the problem?
Any ideas are welcome. If necessary, I can give parts of the configs.
