I apologize if this has been asked already and answered. I tried searching for my answers unsuccessfully already.
My issue is the Groove 52 radios getting into a state that they will not boot at all. They will power on, all signal strength lights are solid, it does not get the initial boot beep and eventually the power light flashes rapidly. I cannot connect to the device via winbox and I cannot reset them to factory defaults.
Looking for any advice on next steps to understand what is happening and anything we can do to prevent this from happening.
Thanks,
Mike
I attempted netinstall and the tool did not see the radio. I was using a USB to Ethernet adapter so I would not have to change my regular settings and disconnected from the network. I followed the instructions directly with the exception of the USB-Ethernet adapter and the PoE to power the radio.
I will attempt again using the network connection on the laptop and hopefully I can connect to a known good one first then try the failing one.
I have also attempted to force a reload of the default OS by pressing the reset button and holding while I insert the cable to power the radio up. No amount of time holding the reset button depressed has forced a change in the behavior.
