Just got a Groove 52HPn from a friend to test and play with. The unit was configured by me 6 month ago to work as a CPE at my friends summer house. It was used for a month indoors with no problems.
I plugged it in at my premises, backed up the configuration and connected it to my House’s wifi for starters. Then i disabled the wifi and left for work. I left the unit plugged in to the mains. Next morning i fired up winbox but it did not show up. I unplugged and replugged the unit from power. The unit beeps once, lan and wifi leds (the first 2) light up for about 20 seconds and then they turn off. No second beep to indicate booting complete ( although to be honest i am not sure there was ever a second beep, i did not pay attention) no winbox detection. Also there is no led light at the back (where the ethernet connects). I tried holding down the reset button for 20+ seconds, no led no change.
Anyone ran into this before? Also tried different ethernet cable but i dont have another psu to test. The one currently using is the factory supplied.
