Groove A 2hn-Dead Signal

So I just installed a Groove. AP bridge setting.

Worked great for about half a day got a couple client because it got better range than the bullet. In the morning I got a message that the AP was not allowing people to connect. I logged in through winbox, it had no activity. I did a scan of the area nothing came up, yesterday I had about 6 APs in the area. I logged into my other AP and was able to see the groove was giving off a signal.

I drove over to the town where I had the AP. I tried to connect from about 50 yards, great signal but nothing. Finally got within 10 yards. Signal was great and was able to connect but no internet.

What gives? I replaced a bullet with the groove because of the similar situation.

Thanks
Alexis

Anyone?

Lost another one. Was told a UPS with a regulator would help. So i bought one that would switch to the battery if something went wrong on the commercial line. Lost another groove after the storm.

I’m at a lost.

Is it possible the mikrotik router is sending up bad signals through the data lines?

We are investigating a subliminal message sent by these devices.

Problem with radio?

does Groove A 2Hn have this problems still??

i mean does it still go dead??

Are you by any chance changing the TX power? Also, make sure you connect the antenna before you turn on the device for the first time. Leave TX power at default. Use grounded and shielded ethernet: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Grounding

To be entirely sure what is going on, the Groove has to be sent to warranty inspection.
