GROOVE A-52HPn signal problem 2,4 ghz

Hi, my name is Adrian, i’m from Argentina. Sorry for my poor english.

I have a very big problem. The scenario is the next.

I have a Ubiquiti Bullet M2 (with Atheros AR9283-AL1A) like AP connected to 15 dbi Omni Hyperlink. The altitude is 20 meters. I have five customers around (50, 100, 120, 60, 80 meters each one). The CPE customers is TPLINK wa5210g. The AP (Bullet M2) see each customer with very good signal (-60 to -68).

I acquired 2 Mikrotik Groove A-52HPn (because this have 128 mb over 32 mb ram from Bullet, and have more processor speed), for replace the Bullet M2 ap. but the problem is, when clients connect to the GROOVE, this (the GROOVE), “see” each CPE with VERY VERY bad signal (-78 to -84). I re-check everything, the GROOVE is in B/G mode and of course work in 2.4 Ghz. Both, the Bullet and Groove are working in the same frecuency.
I change the GROOVE for the other new, and SAME problem. The CPE of the clients, “SEE” the GROOVE with VERY GOOD SIGNAL (-61 to -64).

What can be the problem? The bullet works all well and not in the groove?
Maybee is a Atheros Chipset problem?

I try this scenario with a Routerboard RB751 - 2uhnd (just for test purposes) like AP, connecting the Omni in the external connector, and WORK VERY GOOD (like the Bullet M2). The radio of RB751-2uhnd is a Atheros AR9283-AL1A, the EXACTLY SAME of the Bullet M2.

How can resolve this?
Thank you very much for you patience and sorry for my english.
Best regards.
Adrián.

Have you look to the pin or that is not pressed in? see the red dot

I have the exact same issue with mine!
The 52HPn TX is great and seen by the other end stable and good, BUT the 52HPn has poor and erratic RX signal.
There is a LOT of high power (80W) transmitters at this site on 2.15GHz so I am ordering a filter that has -65db rejection at 2.2G.
I will let you know how it works!

hi
Argentine neighbors from CHILE

To make better use RBGrooveA-52HPn is 1x1 mimo

  1. change Band: 2ghz-b / g / n channel: 20 / 40mhz Ht above
  2. for good reception on 60 meters with AP
  3. view online only would be fine, but when you need to signal inside a home signal is not good
  4. receiving the laptop to be on the inside of a home is not very good so they need a little help
  5. L-com antennas are good
  6. what is the version of your RouterOS Vx.x RBGrooveA-52HPn
  7. one of the comments (80w) I doubt
