Groove A-5Hn 802.11a/n wireless network

Hi,

I have two Groove A-5Hn , I want setup Groove A-5Hn as a access point for Laptop , mobile and other kind of 802.11 supported device.

According to your website ,
The Groove A-5Hn has a RouterOS Level4 license, so I can use it as a wireless access point (or as a client and for point to point links). It has one 10/100 Ethernet port with PoE support and a built-in 200mW 802.11a/n wireless radio .

I have already upgrade the OS to 5.5,and also i have attached a 5.2 GHz antenna(different band) , the wireless light not blink and laptop not detect the wireless .
Please help me about Configuration process and advice about antenna .

Hi,

I have also two A-5Hn Grooves, first is AP second is client. The reason why your laptop doesn’t detect the Groove signal is because it operates in a different frequency.

My Groove client is connected to a standard Soho wifi router, which distibutes the signal in laptop friendly frequency.
