Grounding of outdoor devices

Hello all,

How would you ground (for example) a SXT LTE, where you have the GND / Earth connection, but there is no space for an 1 AWG wire to connect?

See this video:

Sorry for bumping up this topic.

What I want to know is the correct diameter (d2 (mm)) to be used for ground cables in SXT CPE like this one.

Thanks.

A short ground cable back to the main support structure.

I have seen that video. The question is what is the size of the ring terminal that the short ground cable uses.

About 3-4 mm hole size. the screw is M3.

Use one caliber to read the diameter of the screw,
done.

Remember to NOT use ground on this cases:

  1. unshielded ethernet cable (UTP)
is useless, you must protect first the cable…

  2. Device powered with galvanic separation

  3. device not on pole or not on high point
