Grove 2hn Setup as a basic access point

Hi I am just after buying a grove 2hn and need to set it up as a access point
I have browsed the net but can find very little info
I have tried setting up Interface / wlan1-gateway
with default settings
mode station
Band 2ghz
channel 20/40 MHz HT Above
freq 2412
ssid MIKROTIK
scan list default
wireless Protocol Any
security profile default

Wireless / wlan1-gateway

mode station
band 2GHz-b/g/n
Channel 20/40MHz HT Above
freq 2412
SSID MikroTik
Scan list default
Wireless protocol Any
Security Profile default


Problem is I cant see the ap from a client pc
Can anyone tell where I am messing up with the configuration

First of all, the Groove 2Hn doesn’t support access point mode, only the Groovr A-2Hn does. Do you have the model with the letter “A”?

If yes, you simply need to change wireless mode from “station” to “ap-bridge”. Once you got that, and client is connected, further configuration can follow.
