I have 200mbps internet and need to create 2 100mbps Guaranteed queues.
I would like 192.168.1.0/25 to have individual simple queues that will have different limits assigned by PPPoE connections share 100mbps and then have 192.168.1.240/28 share the other 100mbps ensuring that neither subnet uses the others guaranteed bandwidth.
I have tried to create 2 simple queues with 100mbps limits with the two subnet targets and then had the PPPoE Queues be set as children, but it seems that the childrens bandwidth settings can go beyond the 100mbps limit of the parent? At least they can go beyond if their individual queue is greater than 100mps. I have only tried this in testing with one child with their queue set to 200 mbps. When I do this the parent queue turns red, but the child gets the 200mbps.
What would be the proper way to create 2 100mbps Guaranteed queues?
