Thanks Normis, Nope does not work. Believe me I’ve tried that many times since yesterday.
Maybe also 50 hard resets to access this router.
Also after I configure the router with my PC, disconnect the router from my PC and connect to the TP link router, the TP link router does not accept the WAN.
When I connect the MT950G back to my PC with a LAN cable to see what is going on, my PC is not able to connect to or access the router. I need to do a hard reset back to 192.168.88.1.
open winbox
Select quickset and then CPE
Router reboots and access ROS again (settings in ROS are CPE)
In wireless select country, select the AP wirelessly, connect - OK (router shows wireless connection to the outside AP)
Reboot the router
Router connected by LAN to PC cannot be connected via Winbox or Webfig with mac login or ip login connected via lan.
Disable the lan and enable lan just loops and does not connect.
Have to hard reset to default the router to access and start over again.
Is there anything else I can set to get the connection working on the LAN side.
Why can I not access the router after setting the CPE and the router reboots (which IP or MAC should be used to access the router through webconfig or winbox?
