Guide to Mikrotik + Freeradius for PPP*

Hey all,

I’m in the middle of writing a full guide to RouterOs with freeradius for User auth and accounting of PPP* users in the wiki, its not done yet by a long shot but was after some feedback for the guide so far.

My aim is to take a user through configuring freeradius, populating the Sql DB with users and configuring RouterOS to use the Radius Server for AAA

Nice! Looks quite complete for a basic config if you ask me.

While the guide assumes you know your way around RouterOs, Linux and MySql it does not assume you know anything about radius hence it’s completeness and explanation of the config files in detail

Ok well its pretty much done, i’ve got the last section on configuring RouterOS for PPP* AAA and Radius but thats all thats left

Hi ALL

I looked at the WiKi, very helpful indeed. My problem is, however, with the initial installation with FreeRadius. I had FR working fine before, but recently switched over the CentOs. I need to be able to run Asterisk@Home and FR running on the same system. I had FR working fine on FC3 and also SuSe10. A@Home does not have a free GUI, and I like the A@HOME GUI. So I loaded the ISO for A@HOME which comes with CentOS. Now I can’t seem to install FR propperly, keep getting PHP probs, as FR seems to need PHP3, not PHP4 as currently installed.

Could someone perhaps give me some (off MT-topic) support? I would REALLY appreciate this.

how to use “Simultaneous Use” option to check multiple connection?
I’ve more than twenty RB and I want to check if any user try to log to a diverse RB..
