Hi all
I’m looking for an independent consultant that can work with me on a setup for which I am responsible. I’m self-taught in Mikrotik and have managed to get fairly far on my own (everything works), however I need a second opinion and advice pertaining to my setup, firewalling, route management, etc.
I’ve currently got 2 BGP routers for domestic and international exchanges. I’ve got a third router under DIA with better peering capabilities. I have an ASN and am ready to start purchasing and installing my own peers to decrease latency and improve performance for my customers.
Stuff I need help with includes:
- Smart bandwidth shaping based on usage (http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/dynamic-queue-calculation-based-on-users-bandwidth-usage-paid-assistance/115660/1)
- Properly firewalling my routers (second opinion/advice)
- Optimising routes and choosing the best peers to go with
- Various other tips on how I might manage my network better
