hAP AC ADSL with SFP

Hello amazing Forum!

I own a Mikrotik hAP AC here in Rome, Italy.
before i move to my new apartment i had Fastweb ISP with FTTH (1000mbps) so i connected SFP straight to board and with mac cloning everything worked amazingly.

Now that i moved to a new apartment i have FTTS (Fiber to the Street) @200mbps but i have to cascade the ISP Modem which is very bad in quality.

RJ-11------ISP Modem-------RJ45-------Mikrotik------Home network

is it possible to install an adapter in order to remove the ISP modem?

Thanks a lot,

There are VDSL SFP modules that somehow work with Mikrotik, but they have some drawbacks … mostly they’re limited configuration-wise and could happen they don’t support particular VDSL profile used by your ISP. They seem to work slightly worse than decent ISP modems (achieve lower speed over same twisted pair line) and tend to run hot (so some cooling tricks might be necessary).
There are some threads on this forum about VDSL sticks, so search around …

Hi mariomare22
What’s the right configuration to setup a fastweb ftth directly to sfp port?
I have a hAP AC router wit sfp, I’m loosing my mind to find configuration. nothing works.
