Why is the hAP ac² Amazon USA $99.00, much more than the suggested price?
Don’t buy Amazon. 
Have a look who the reseller is and where he is situated. Could Eastern Europe so shipping costs.

That guy on Amazon only started gouging once noone had any stock.
Roc-Noc always lists the market price as higher than retail.
Not found of that sort of practice, so I don’t order from them… anymore.
I think Mikrotik should consider sending a few to Amazon using that FBA Fulfilment by Amazon virtual warehouse.
MikroTik does not sell anything directly. Any Amazon deals would have to be made by official distributors.
Shame, you’ll probably sell less with the gouged prices.
If you’re in the US, Baltic Networks usually has pretty good deals, such as 10% or more off Mikrotik’s MSRP.

It’s out of stock right now but you can still pre-order.
Baltic is my regular source for Tik. But they can be out of stock for months at a time. It took over a year for a wAP LTE-Kit to show up there.
I dont live in the US but if I did I would look at ISP supplies as a potential source of MK gear.

Perhaps the short supply is due to the recent and in my view suspicious fire at a Mikrotik Warehouse. Fires just don’t start at 3:48am by themselves.
My condolences to the company and staff as something like this can be very unsettling.
