hAP ac as repeater

Hi, guys.

Could you, please point me in right direction here? I have a 4G router (Huawei), given to me by my internet provider. I also have hAP ac router.
Rather than having 2 networks, I want to setup hAP ac to extend my existing wireless network, provided by Huawei router. After some googling, looks like “wireless repeater” is what I need, but I am not 100% sure what has to be considered to set it up.

Is the “Setup Repeater” option from Wireless menu all I need? Do I have to reset the router first of it is configured as a main router now?

Ok, I now i see that Setup Repeater option only exists in router OS demo, it is not in my hAP ac config tool. This makes it a bit more complicated :slight_smile:

Update the software on your AP but FIRST read the release notes!

I have the latest 6.36 firmware on my hAP ac , but I still don’t have the “Setup Repeater” option.

Do you have wireless rep package installed and active?
