hAP ac² decreases Ethernet speed

Forced to ask for help. Yesterday I bought “hAP ac²”. I am connected to the Internet provider at a speed of 500 Mbit. And this is true if I connect the computer directly. But if I connect via “hAP ac²”, the Internet speed decreases to 95 Mbps. At the same time, between computers on a local network, the speed is kept at 1 Gbps. What settings can affect this?
In the settings after resetting to the factory, I only changed the password)))

My first guess would be cable. If it is not cable, then second and third guess would be cable again. (or maybe connector)
Cable can easily cause issues, especially when it is too long or damaged or near source of interference.

Now, seriously:
95Mbps sounds exactly like your L1 stuck in 100Mbps rate.
If you are really using default config, there is very unlikely to be any config-related issue but better to check following:

  • does your Ether1 really advertise 1000M rate? (based on your screenshot, it should, but still, check reality on “Status” tab)

  • does your Ether1 link partner also advertise 1000M rate? (again check it on “Status” tab of interface)

  • If both advertise 1000M rate, but you still see only 100M rate active, it means the communication was not stable on 1000M → cable problem again…

  • very unusual but possible - look into your Eth slot and check if all pins are nicely aligned. Not like this

(I once had to replace a 50cm cat6 cable because it was causing link flapping which always ended up in establishing 100M rate)
