I am currently trying to setup a mesh network with two hAP ACs which also support VLANS.
My current problem I am trying to solve is the following:
My Internet Connection terminates in the living room. However, my homelab (with a pfsense VM) is situated across the appartment.
Since I absolutely can’t run a cable from one room to another, I was trying to achieve a link with the two APs.
Since I want to use them for my WiFi as well, I guess it is not an option to create a PTP connection, therefore I chose the MESH implementation. On top of that, I want to create a vlan, which routes the internet traffic from my ISP modem, through to my homelab (VLAN 99) and then distribute it from my pfsense out via wifi and the ethternet ports.
Is there another option?
