yet windows is only reporting about 38 mb or about 304 mbit? does anyone see anything better then 300mbit transfers?

i can get 160mbit off freaking n at 2.4 on the same radio and hap?

Sometimes Windows make transfer slower.

Do you have some firewall checking the files?
Are you using some file transfer program?. You should try teracopy

  1. Try new RouterOS, you are still on the old drivers
  2. What kind of laptop? Does it have 3 chain wireless card?

rOS 6.37.4 will make the hAP AC faster. However, see if you have the slow login (via winbox or putty) issue that I’m having.

second line in OP its a intel dual band 7260 2x2 out of a lenovo laptop.

i will have to upgrade my hap and see what happens, i generally don’t like going out of bug fix
pcunite what speeds do you see?

do you get that hang up like i show in my screenshots?

speed is actually worse on 37.4

specifically because it doesn’t go mimo on the transmit side, the slow 54 mbit issue is gone, but as you can see it never gets to to 2s 390 is about it, in the same exact spot as yesterday

guess i will try 38.1

38.1

same issue as 37.4 does not like the 7260 as dual stream

looks like im rolling back to 36.4

littlebill,

I’m having hardware issues with my hAP AC. So, I’m not going to be able to confirm my statements. Both v6.37.4 and v6.38.1 are crashing my unit. I think I have a hardware fault and not so much the firmware.

I found the source of my issues. I have my hAP AC connected to a RB2011UAS-2HnD. The connected port on the RB2011 is flapping! That explains everything now.

@normis

any comments based on my logging?
