hAP AC with wifiwave2 - Sony TV, mediabox can't connect via wifi

Hi all,

after upgrading my hAP AC to wifiwave2 package, Sony TV (KD 43XF8505) and Minix U1 mediabox can’t connect to wifi with error “wifi not found”, while these devices can definitely “see” the wifi, just connection is not possible.

My wifi settings

I tried to disable 5GHz, disable security, change 2.4 GHz to band G, nothing helped.

Has anyone solved similar issue?

This may be an issue for old devices and/or iOT devices in general.

this solved the issue for the Minix U1 mediabox, but not for the Sony TV

any other ideas what to change to make the TV be able to connect again?

If your TV already saved the wifi connection, remove it. Also reboot your Sony TV. Check for latest software updates.
