Hello!
I’m experiencing some speed issue with my RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT and Xiaomi Redmi note 3 Pro (Qualcomm) on 5GHz band.
Channel speed is fine and stable, however real transferring speed vary from ~200 Mbps to ~4 Mbps. I’ve tested it between 2 devices connected to the router via LAN (GbE) and phone.
I have no problems with my 5GHz TV as well as with my 2.4GHz laptop.
Support rif is attached.
Iperf3 tests from server to phone are attached.
It’s really annoying!
When I’m trying to watch some video from the LAN with average bit-rate 6 Mbps, Wi-Fi connection stacked around 4 Mbps - impossible to watch continuously paused and interrupted video.
Please, help.
Hi, I have disabled “aes ccm” on 5GHZ security profile; so now I have only “tkip” and it works fine with my Redmi Note 8 pro.
It’s not the best solution… but is a workaround.
On 2,4Ghz band AES+TKIP works fine.
Try to use AES encryption with WPA2 only, TKIP and WPA are legacy protocol and standart , using AES+TKIP+WPA2 even on hAP ac2 (4-core arm IPQ-4018) reduces wireless bandwidth in 3-5 times
