hap ac2 arm issue

Hi all

We use the hap ac2 quite extensively. We received a batch of 50 of them. Over 15 of them are “bricked”. i.e cannot reset or netinstall them, usr light is solid and cannot mac telnet or see the router via lan or wifi.
We believe a new employee by mistake updated them using the arm-64bit version - this is the only thing we can think of.
Is this possible? Why is it possible? And is there a way to fix them?
