HAP AC2 Auto negotioation

Hi all

I have a HAP AC2 that is connected to the Ubiquiti 48 port switch (UniFi Switch 48).

The issue I have is that the link between the switch and the port on the router will not connect at anything other than 100Mbps, auto negotiation is set but it just doesn’t get the 1000Mbps that is available.

If i force it, then I loose everything, which makes me think that it could be at the switch end ? But all the clients I have connect at 1000Mbps no problems. I think the router is telling me the switch is only advertising at 100, but thats not the case :frowning:

Any tips / ideas on where to look / how to troubleshoot this one please ?

Did you try using another patch cable?
You can run Cable Test[/u] from your RB …

From the screenshot it looks like your AC2 is only advertising up to 100Mb Full, make sure the 1000Mb Half and Full are ticked on the “Ethernet” tab on same screen

Cable is fine.

I am going to site this week, I think it needs forcing from the switch!
