I’ve recently decided to stop using my Mikrotik HAP ac2 as a full featured home router and AP because I started using another DIY router/firewall. What I trying to achieve to have a fully transparent LAN/WLAN where HAP is just an access point (no routing, firewall etc.). It is working perfectly by choosing WISP AP and Bridge mode (my uplink port is the original WAN port and I also connected one of the LAN port to the same switch and it is getting an IP address from the new firewall. Unfortunately Mikrotik UI is not reachable after I change it to bridge mode. Can you please help me to get this working (I mean I can access UI regardless my HAP is in bridge mode). I’ve tried several scenarios, but it seems nothing is working.
