HAP AC2 - Ethernet drops out every 10 minutes

I just purchased a new HAP AC2 - I use it as a wireless access point and also have one wired connection into my desktop. I’m facing disconnects from my internet about every 10 minutes - the downtime is no longer than 5 seconds, but it’s particularly annoying when I do work with a lot of SSH connections that need a consistent connection.

I tried to upgrade RouterOS to 6.44.3, but it prevented my desktop from ever connecting to the internet for some reason. I used NetInstall to downgrade to a 6.43.16 and regained connectivity - but the disconnects still persist.

Is this a known issue and if so, are there settings that are misconfigured out of the box?

What does your logs say? I would be first seeing if it is a layer 1 issue and seeing if the logs report ether1 going up and down, if this is happening I would recommend swapping the cables, if it continues with new cables I would suggest swapping the WAN port and configuring a known working port as the WAN connection and seeing if this persists while connecting your pc or another device into ether 1 and see if they are experiencing the disconnections as well.
Also are you able to tell us what the config is? I assume by your last sentence that this might be using the default configuration?
