hAP AC2 firmware bin

Hello. With a short skimming, my hAP AC2 stopped loading. No activity on ports via Winbox. Is it possible to get firmware on it somewhere, which can be downloaded via the programmer? Thank you.

You can follow the wiki-article to flash a factory image on your router. You can grab the correct routerOS (arm!) from the Download page

Thanks, but useless. Router is in brick mode. No any activity on any ports, direct flash programming needed. So I need a working dump from flash-chip only :frowning:

It should be possible to extract the bootloader firmware from the software package. Then write it to the SPI Flash at the correct location with a programming tool.

No activity on the wireless interfaces as well?

No activity anywhere. LEDs lights. Standard behaviour on hard reset. And after is silence (arp, wireless etc.). I don't know how to extract data from firmware. I was counting on donor's dump bin file.

If you burn with SPI maybe you can lose the mikrotik license. Net Install no way?

there’s a factory bootloader on the flash, that cannot be upgraded. if anything goes south with the user-upgradable one it still should be get to netinstall.

i saw symptoms similar to what you describe with a wAP-R, but it turned out the RAM chip is somewhat loose. once I pressed and held it against the PCB it was able to boot.

my router was connected through the POE, I turned it on to myself to connect another device via cable and the voltage disappeared, then it appeared again but the router became completely inaccessible, I’m sure that it disrupted its operation due to the connector becoming weak from heavy use . it’s a pity that there are no solutions for the programmer, you have to throw the device in a trash, thanks to everyone for the answers
