I’ve upgraded my HAP AC2 to ROS 7.17 and now I don’t have a wireless interface anymore.
When I go to the packages, the packes is there but not enabled.
When I enable the wireless package the status goes to “scheduled to enable” and nothing happens.
Something should be present in log about storage space problems.
It might be needed to netinstall that device.
AC2 under ROS7 is known to become a bit “tight” on flash space, you may be just on the limit.
Netinstall clears all internal residue from previous installations.
Have a PROPER export of your current config ready (txt format, not the binary format and check the output before you proceed !).
Also make sure to include wireless package as well when using netinstall.
Otherwise you will have to move that one over separately as well.
How did you perform the upgrade? The integrated package update function should take care of wifi/wireless drivers automatically. If you upload the packages manually, you have to make sure you include the proper drivers package.
I did the upgrade from the webfig ui, what now is called advanced, like i used to do.
Using NetInstall i was able to get the right packages on the device.
The wireless package has been replaced bij the wifi-qcom-ac package and now I have wifi again on the device.
