hAP ac3 + cAP ax wireless

Hi!

I have a hap ac3 in my home, as it is not able to connect to wifi in the hole house i added a cap ax to the installation.

I upgraded the ROS to 7.16 on both devices. They work independent but i can not connect cAP in cap-mode.

I see at the hap that it has two wirelelss section wifi/wirless and the old (wireless) is still running.
I read in the doc that two drivers are available.

I have following questions:

  • does hap ac3 support wifi drives + internal wifi radio (on capsman)?
  • does the new wifi driver (already shown in packages) work, or do i need the …ac.. one from the doc for the hap ac3

On the AC3 you need the following packages:

RouterOS 7.16 (main Package)
wifi-qcom-ac

On the AX you need:
RouterOS 7.16 (main Package)
wifi-qcom


Configuration is done through /interace/wifi.
In Winbox its just the “Wifi” button

Unfortunately I have some old devices still in use so i needed to switch back to the old driver.

You have a wireless package on the controller, and a wifi-qcom package is installed on the new equipment (ax) ?
And now everything works? From from the main controller (old) controlled equipment on AC and AX ??? Thanks
