hAP AC3, Intel Wireless, 5Ghz

Hello,
I have issue with my hAP AC3 router and Windos 10 + Intel Wireless AC 9560 card. I can’t see 5Ghz WiFi on my hAP AC3 router. But I can see different 5Ghz networks in my office and I’m able to connect to 5Ghz network in different locations (office, cafes, etc.. ) My Android phone can see 5Ghz network from my hAP AC3 router and it is able to connect to it. So this is very strange issue.

I’m using CAPS-MAN together with 4 devices

You have left the serial number on export, and you worry about censoring private ip addresses? :unamused:

hAP AC3 is my own, I’m not aware of any issue if someone will see my router serial number. Is there any ?
And yes I have censored private IP, because it is not my home network, NDA, company policy, … etc..

Really you do not know the difference between private IP space and public IPs?

For example, from your 4 serial number I deduce than you are at home, not at work, and you use TES Media,
instead from 192.168.x.x is impossible to deduce anything, because also my internal network have the same IPs,
is impossible to deduce what are the 512 IPs allocated, from the Upc Broadband service, for your organization.

@rchovan, what Extended forgot to mention is that pubic ip or a serial number can be backtracked if your router ip cloud service is enabled using serialno + sn.mynetname.net ie “529c0491d41c.sn.mynetname.net”.

Most of the times it’s not a big deal if the router is well protected but if you are located in a country where the government is spying on it’s citizens it might advisable to clear out that info it when showing the export in a public forum.

@rchovan
You did not make the correct wifi settings. You need to reset the router to factory settings and configure everything manually again, without pushing settings you don’t understand.
When setting up multiple access points you need to understand the radio wifi settings level L1. Do these include frequency (channel) group of non-overlapping channels, channel width, access point power. In your configuration, these settings are not made correctly. Although these settings do not affect the connection of your device, they affect the quality of the network as a whole. The connection is affected by the settings of Rates, which will become correct after a factory reset, and do not touch them again, if you do not understand the issue let them stand by default.
PS The recommendation: is to replace in the caps-man provisioning action=create-dynamic-enabled on action=create-enabled

@Ca6ko
changed caps-man provisioning action to create-enabled, but same result. Can’t see 5Ghz network on my laptop. About rates, they are all in default, I don’t changed any rates for 5Ghz config. So I have removed 5G configuration from CAPSMAN and created new one. After that I can see my 5ghz network in list and I can connect to it.

But it connects only at 150/260 Mbps rates, my ISP connection is 300Mbps and max network connection should be 867Mbps.

Is there a way how to fine tune it, so not only Android phone, but even my laptop can connect at 867Mbps ?
