It’s a pity though in the video he claims “I constantly see speeds above 800mb” yet the speedtest screen shown at that moment clearly shows below 800 all the time.

hAP ac2 already had PoE in. It is only the PoE out that is new. And hopefully now it is 802.11af/at instead if “passive PoE”…

hAP ac3 should already provide most of what hAP ax2 has to offer… no need to buy a new one again, I would say.
I don’t understand that either. I would expect the PoE out on ether5. But maybe it saves some components…
This is smallest dual-band ax device i have seen so far - i think this is one of many compromises they had to make for this form factor.
would be good to know price, that might also explain a lot.

Well, I totally agree with you. Normis stated that MT does not restrict their clients with a subscription. But, I consider a small disk a restriction.
I guess 128 MB or maximum 256 MB. It will be able to run the new wifiwave drivers…where you can already see the supporteed chipset…

So we can guess which chiset is in the hAP ax2. Probably it will be IPQ 8074, so Im worried about high price. Even hAP AC3, with wifi 5 cost as wifi 6 routers competitors…
