hAP ax S and D-Link DPN-100 SFP Module

Hi,
I’m evaluating to buy the hAP ax S but my provider only support few SFP modules.
Actually my router has the D-Link DPN-100, other supported modules are HUAWEI MA5671A, ZYXEL PMG3000, TECHNICOLOR AFM0002 and AFM0003.
Has anyone used the DPN-100 on hAP axS or other supported modules?

thank you for your help.

Do you need ipv6?

I would stay away from ZYXEL PMG3000. It’s hit or miss with ipv6, depending on the firmware.

It might work if the DPN-100 is the same ODI SFP, but you'll be very disappointed, as the current Wi-Fi on the hAP AX S is broken, the SFP and LAN1 ports are also unstable, and they won't work with this (ODI) module at speeds close to 800-900 Mbps, plus there will be processor issues.

In fact, you have a rather difficult choice. If you're willing to pay more and accept the current issues and lower performance for an elegant solution, it's worth choosing. If you prioritize speed and stability, you should consider the 5009.

If you want maximum comfort and a lower price, then consider any ONU + any new router from the new AX series, AX Lite, AX2, 009, or AX3.

p.s. если вы говорите по русски, то мой вам совет, gpon sfp и дорогой микротик - это выкидывание денег на ветер.
