Hap ax s antenna gain discrepancy

I was wondering if anybody here could clear up a discrepancy in the listed antenna gain for 5ghz on the hap ax s

In the brochure it states: 6.5 dbi

On the mikrotik website it states: 8.07 dbi

I'm not sure why it says two different values. I'm more inclined to believe the 6.5 but where is this 8.07 coming from?

This is not unusual for brochure and website to have different values. It also was this way when wap ax launched. It takes some iterations until it settles.

One way to find out is trying to set “antenna-gain” to 1, the error message should tell you the allowed minimum value.
